Musical Theatre:
Students will learn basic breathing and pitch and vocal warm ups. The main focus will be on breaking down a song for meaning and subsequent performance. Students will learn to sing how they speak first. Then study a role and speak and sing as the character. Time will also be spent on maintaining basic choreography while singing and dancing in character. All songs and production numbers will be from the Broadway musical repertoire. Acting:
A grassroots introduction to acting techniques. Students will participate in physical and vocal warm-ups. They will learn to focus through different exercises. They will be introduced to the basics of character building and creating. There will also be improvisation and games that develop concentration and imagination. This class is a well-rounded grounding in the basics of acting. Appearance Requirements:

Hip-Hop:
This ever-popular funk and hip hop class teach the trendy moves viewed on movies, television and music videos. The high energy choreography that builds stamina, while emphasizing body isolations, coordination, rhythm and attitude is a class that is all about fun! Come learn the Boogaloo Walkout, Scooby Doo, the Brooklyn Rock and the Flip-A-Roo. Each session you will learn new moves set to a strong contemporary beat, using popular yet appropriate music. A class to just get out there and dance! Appearance Requirements:
